How far in advance should we hire you?

Our recommendation is: Full wedding planning (Spain and destination weddings): at least 12 months in advance. Design and coordination: between 3 and 6 months before the wedding. Pre-wedding and post-wedding: it's not necessary to decide on these from the very beginning. You can add them later, when the project is further along and you have a clearer understanding of your priorities and the type of celebration you want to extend. Working with enough time allows us to focus on the design, control the pace, and make decisions calmly and thoughtfully.

How exactly do you help us?

We manage the entire process: planning, design, coordination, and key decision-making. We screen suppliers, oversee contracts, anticipate potential issues, and structure each step to ensure a clear and seamless organization. Our goal is to give you peace of mind and control, knowing your project is well-managed.

Every wedding is different. To provide a quote tailored to your needs, we first need to get to know you and understand what kind of wedding you want to organize. Once we have received and analyzed all your information, we will present you with a personalized proposal.

The venue offers us a wedding planner, do we still need you?

It's a very common and perfectly understandable question. In many venues, you'll find someone who assists you with the management of the venue itself: schedules, use of spaces, internal protocol, and coordination of everything that happens within the venue. Their role is essential for the venue to function correctly on the day of the event. Our role is different. At Boda y Miel, we work for you, not for the venue. Our priority is you and your experience, from the very first moment until after the big day. We take care of the overall wedding planning and coordinate all the suppliers involved, whether or not they are affiliated with the venue: transportation, hair and makeup, decoration, music, timings, guests… Everything is part of the same machine and needs a single point of contact to run smoothly. On the wedding day, we are at the forefront, coordinating every detail and resolving anything necessary so that you don't have to worry about a thing and can enjoy yourselves with peace of mind, knowing that everything is under control. A professional wedding planner doesn't replace the venue team; they complement them. And when both work in alignment, the wedding is so much better.

Is the decorative material included?

No. At Boda y Miel, we design the decorative proposal and coordinate the setup, but the materials (purchased or rented) are contracted specifically for each wedding. In this way, each project is unique and does not follow repeated formulas.

Do we choose the suppliers?

Yes. We suggest suppliers that best suit your style, needs, and type of wedding, but the final decision is always yours. Our role is to advise and provide guidance so you can make an informed decision. If there's a vendor you already have a connection with or one you're particularly excited about, we're happy to discuss it. We'll assess each case to see how it fits into the overall picture and, as long as it makes sense for your wedding.

Who is in charge of the setup on the wedding day?

Each supplier is responsible for setting up their own service (lighting, sound, etc.). Our team coordinates all setups to ensure they are completed as planned and within the scheduled timeframe.

For destination weddings, is it necessary to travel before the wedding?

We recommend at least one visit, if possible, to see the space and meet some of the vendors in person. If that's not possible, we work seamlessly remotely via video calls and virtual tours. We'll adapt to your situation.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of guests?

No. We adapt to the size and actual needs of each wedding, adjusting the team and planning accordingly.

What will we have to do during the process?

Participate in important decisions and maintain open communication with us. We will present proposals and updates so you can make your decisions calmly. We will take care of the rest of the work, so you can enjoy the process without the burden of management.
